Beckman's Dog Training is owned and run by former Killer Whale and exotic animal trainers Joel and Liz Beckman. Joel and Liz use positive reinforcement, clicker training, exercise instruction and aggression reduction techniques to train dogs and their owners. In the past, Joel's life has literally depended on building a strong relationship based on positive reinforcement.
Beckman's Dog Training offers Board and Train at their beautiful facility and in-home training including a free in-home consultation. They also offer Puppy, Basic Obedience, Intermediate and Feisty Fido class at their brand new training facility located at Kahoots Escondido West and classes at Camp Run-a-Mutt on Sassafras St. After training Killer Whales, dogs are a breeze!
Joel and his team do an outstanding job day in and day out with the dogs -- he is very consistent in his training. The team is excellent. He provides tips that can be done at home.

Cooper is a big dog and without Joel I would really have to worry. But now he is a well behaved and lovable companion who gets attention everywhere he goes.

Joel and Liz Beckman are the BEST! They proved their skills and knowledge when Joel worked his magic with Bebe. I took her to two other trainers in and near SD with no luck, then I called Beckmans and Bebe is so happier and healthier. My husband and I also learned how to work with Bebe by changing our behavior working with her.
