The Bernardo Winery, founded in 1889, and family owned and operated since 1927, is still fully functional as a producing winery, producing wine in the same Italian tradition for three generations. with beautiful historic buildings that house some of the regions best local artistans, shops and restaurant, Bernardo Winery has something for everyone!
Nestled under the olive trees, the unique winery village shops include Sweet Pea coffee shop, a full hair and nail salon, award winning Cafe Merlot and Bon Bon Bakery, a glass blowing studio, women and childrens clothing, and home decor shops.

For a winery in SD, this is good.... I'll still drive to Temecula if I want to do tastings and spend a day having fun...
