Owner Lanita Varshell is the heart of this Studio. She has been teaching Gentle Yoga since 1995, and has been interviewed by L.A. Yoga, Yoga Journal Magazine, and taught at the Yoga Journal/International Health and Fitness Conference.
After over 10,000 classes taught, and working with thousands of students NEW to yoga, Lanita has developed a unique style of loving, doable, but very deep yoga that is powerful healing for your back, your organs, blood pressure, and flexibility. This "Meditation in Movement" style can be done at the simplest levels or taken to deep advanced stretching and toning. It is very focused on the central nervous system and energy centers of the body.
A Gentle Way offers 30 weekly classes, with a variety of experienced, caring teachers, offering several different levels and styles of hatha yoga.
They also bring world-respected yoga teachers in for special student and teacher workshops, and are known for their in-depth yoga teacher training program.
