In 2002, Bird Rock Coffee Roasters opened for business as a strictly grass-roots company. We roasted our coffee using small 1lb capacity air roasters, and worked out of a local restaurant kitchen because we did not, at first, have an actual location. All our coffee was sold at farmers markets and through our home-delivery service to local residents.

coffee heaven. seriously, they know their coffee. and their coffee buying practices fall in line with my personal/political belief system...not to mention ~ it just smells like heaven. go for quality!
