Akin's Restaurant and Delicatessen, which has been a San Diego institution since they first opened their doors back in 1980, has a menu that boasts 134 sandwiches piled sky-high with fine deli meats. While they're most famous for their grilled Reuben sandwiches, you'll also find amazing burgers, a humongous Philly Cheesesteak and awesome Triple-Deckers. Plus the Corned Beef and Pastrami are full-flavored and juicy just like you'd expect from a New York style deli.
This is not just any deli. One look at the huge menu and you think you're back at in New York at the Carnegie Deli! Super sandwiches, great Matzo Ball soup and all teh deli faves, just like Bubby used to make. One bite and you'll think you aree in New York. Go, eat have a nosh..eat more bubbala!!
