Previously known as the Village Garden Restaurant. Now after nine months of extensive renovation we are reopening our doors as GIO. A modern restaurant that includes a Wine bar, Coffee bar, and a full dining experience. With a covered patio and open terrace. On the prominent corner of Allison and La Mesa Boulevard in downtown La Mesa.
Our new menu was created by Chef De Cuisine John Medall formally of Red Circle Cafe and Galileo 101. John has come to us from Las Vegas Nevada, where he has prepared food for high profile people, such as the Clintons, LL Cool J and Cindy Crawford. He has put his focus on preparing the freshest possible items, all made on site.

Love this venue! Food is excellent, wine selection is top notch, and the patio area so enchanting!
