La Costa Wine Co.

La Costa Wine Co. (formerly known as Wine Street) is a North County San Diego full-service wine shop specializing in premium wines from around the world. In 2010, the shop entered its 17th year of serving the North County community. We offer everything from the biggest names in Napa to up-and-coming producers from Spain, Italy and beyond.

In late 2008, the store changed hands and efforts to remodel, re-energize and refresh the business began. As part of our new direction we decided to re-name the store to La Costa Wine Co. to give it a sense of place, community and to let everyone know that there have been big changes. We completely remodeled the back of the store to include a full wine bar for wines by the glass as well as for special tasting events. We also built a full service Cheese Shop within the wine store! Dozens upon dozens of the world's most amazing cheeses are now available at our artisan cheese store. We encourage you to come in and sample as many of the cheeses as you like before you buy them. Everything is cut to order whether you want an ounce or the whole wheel. Customize your own cheese plate to enjoy with a glass of wine in our lounge, or take home to enjoy in the comfort of your home.

We hold organized wine tastings on Friday nights and pour wines by the glass Monday-Saturday.
