Oceanside Museum of Art is a cultural jewel located in downtown Oceanside with a view of the Pacific Ocean and the historic Oceanside Pier.
Exhibitions are designed to showcase the finest art of regional and international artists. From classic landscape paintings to studio furniture, neon sculpture, art quilts and architectural glass, OMA's galleries feature an enlightening survey of contemporary art enriched by the cultures of the community. OMA galleries are redesigned for each exhibition, surprising visitors with a fresh, exciting visual transformation for every new exhibit.
A North County gem! You MUST come to one of the FREE FAMILY Days offered a few times a year on Sundays and create art with family and/or friends and enjoy free admission to museum. Yearly membership is a bargin. I love the changing exhibits which can feature anything from quilts to tattooing.

A forward-thinking board offers the community great exhibits from locals of years past to nationally know current works, including Visions Art Quilt national exhibit, a tattoo fashion show, and this year's unprecedented low-rider exhibit. Always showing several exhibits of high quality and broad interest.

For a smaller city, Oceanside's Museum of Art has BIG exhibits of compelling artists. Every time I go, I am intrigued and inspired by the exhibiting artists' works.
