Everything is great about Cafe Luna. The owner, Jamie, is an optimistic, passionate restaurateur, with a fun loving, loyal staff that serve the customers, the food and their employer with joy. The wine selection is rich, complete, evolving, always in a positive, exciting way. The same could be said about all their pastas, specials, soups, etc. Jamie knows how to keep a tricky blend of the old and the new on the menu. She has expanded the restaurant to outdoor space and with each renovation that you fear could change the tone of the atmosphere, no, it only gets better. Jamie is planning, tasting, testing and always looking for feedback. Perhaps that is why it only gets better. We come to Cafe Luna most every Thursday night. If we miss, you will most likely see us on Friday or introducing another couple to the restaurant on Saturday. Oh, I should not forget to mention that the deserts are excellent. Down to the nitty gritty, the bathrooms are both clean and attractive. They are not simply utilitarian. All the staff know us very well. They care about us and we feel the same. It has a touch of the Cheers quality. If there is one thing I would recommend that I have not shared with Jamie, it would be that the chef should come out of the kitchen every now and then to take a bow. We would certainly give him and all the staff a standing ovation.
