BEST Theatre Group California Youth Conservatory

I've seen many of CYC's shows, and many theatre shows in general, and I'd rank CYC's up there with or, in many cases, above the best of them. They have consistently increased the quality of their productions from great to even greater.
It's refreshing to see an organization like this—one that is designed for youth—that doesn't just do "kids shows" but does difficult, mature, 'quality' theatre that will actually benefit them as they continue in the arts and life in general.
CYC's quality of work is something that other groups aspire to attain, yet don't quite reach. The good news is that as long as they keep striving to get there they are guaranteed many, many years of tremendous progress.
